Augmenting Human Dexterity
As a part of the course, Augmenting Human Dexterity (MEC ENG 179/270 & DES INV 190-E) at UC Berkeley, I prototyped a novel solution to a disabilities-related challenge, focusing on upper-limb mobility or dexterity based on the biomechanics of human manipulation, tactile sensing and haptics, actuation and mechanism robustness, and control interfaces.
User Research
As part of this study, we interviewed a cardiologist with a severed and reattached nerve on the volar and radial side of this thumb.
